Happy Birthday Emily

Emily, my wife, turned 26 on Friday (the 17th).  Thursday evening we celebrated by going out to dinner at a nice restaurant and and taking the night off.  Friday evening, we stayed at home and made dinner and hung out with our housemates a bit.

Emily and I met at College, she was 18 and I was 20.  In fact, we met on her first 15 minutes on campus.  We got married almost exactly 2 years later, and have been enjoying marriage ever since.  She really is my best friend, a faithful companion and a co-laborer in faith. We love to do everything together and lately the things we’ve been enjoying most are reading Harry Potter to each other before we sleep, spending time at the coffee shop working on school work, and cooking together.  She’s absolutely wonderful and helps me to enjoy and understand life in ways I’d completely miss otherwise.  And for all of this and much more Happy Birthday Emily – I love spending my life with you.
