Dress Down (Sunday?) | Andrew Bird, MindMaps and Bruce Action Man
I’m a little late this week but have some really good stuff.
- Andrew Bird’s Concert at the 9:30 club is available for download on NPR’s site.
- For the past month Rob Bell and Mars Hill Church in Michigan have been discussing green issues and the church. If you have the chance check out the last few sermons. From one of the sermons I found out about this Theology of Ecology online, the direct mail site where you can request to not receive junk mail, and the local harvest site where you can find out about local farmers in your area.
- Here’s a really great post on web-applications, many of the apps I’d never used before. I’ve been really digging Bubbl.us, a site used for “mind-mapping.”
- There is a new movie about Bob Dylan coming out called “I’m Not Here,” you can see the playlist from the movie’s soundtrack here and even download some music.
- I recently learned that the emerging church supports Al-Queda – in fact, The Emergent Church is the American arm of Al Qaeda.
- If you use google maps and address book for OSX, check out this plugin. And check out these tasty apps as well. Also, one of my favs,Pukka has had a seriously awesome upgrade.
- “Bruce” Action Man has finally made it to the movies.
- And finally, if you were unaware, Jesus has Returned.
