Hope your new year is off to a great start! Nancy, thank you for commenting. I’ve only just learned about your work but am truly inspired. I’ve been really struggling lately with my sermon-writing and what I’ve watched of your presentations so far has really helped me out. If you have time, I’m wondering if you’ve dealt at all with people — such as myself — who have to write speeches (or sermons) weekly? I am interested in tips for effective writing, planning and presenting. An MLK speech took 30 hours or more to write. Job’s 90 min presentation probably took weeks. What if you have four days? Hi Wess. You could try asking over at ones of these sites: http://greatspeakingcoach.com/ http://www.carlkwan.com/ http://www.craigvalentine.com/blog/ http://mannerofspeaking.org/ http://sixminutes.dlugan.com/ They’re all active blogs about presenting, and I’ve found them good about answering questions. If you’d be willing to mention my name, I’d appreciate that, but it’s not essential. Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
