To All Those Across the Universe

Visitors from all over

The other day when I was looking at traffic for my site I began thinking about all of you who visit who I have never met. Where do you live? What are your stories? How did you find gathering in light and why? I think it’s pretty cool that people from around the world can “touch” one another for a second through the web. And, who knows, possibly even make longer-lasting friendships. Thanks for visiting, all of you, whether I know you or not, and if you want to say something about where you are on planet Earth or some of your story, please do!

[EDIT: I’ve added a second picture to give representation to our Australian readers!]

  1. I don’t think I’ve ever posted a comment here but have been reading for a number of months, I’m afraid I’m not one of your exotic far-flung readers as I’m reading from the UK.

  2. Well, I have been reading for a little while now, I found you through my brother Ben, and honestly I love this site. I am sure we will hear a lot more from each other 🙂

  3. I have been enjoying your blog (and twits) from Woodbridge, Virginia — although I am originally from New York and remain a New Yorker in my heart and mind…I don’t know what that means exactly…but, no, I don’t have any [stereotypical] accents…and, contrary to popular belief, NYers are friendly! ;-P

I think you already know how I found you — I liked your twitter icon! — then, we “friended” each other — it may have been through seeing your icon on Rocketboom’s, TwitLit’s or twitter_mosaic’s friends list (not sure). And, I am pleased to report that there is a funny and smart fellow behind the little hairy lumberjack icon — it is a pleasure being your internet friend. You’re my favorite Quaker PhD! ;-D

  4. Wess,

Sorry: Escondido (California) is not exotic at all. I came by your site some time ago via the recommendation of our mutual friend Seth F (aka Boli); he and I go way back. He knew of my brief but profound experiences with the Friends (mostly via their literature) and thought I would enjoy yr blog.

    And I have.

God bless ya, friend (or if you prefer, Friend)

    Lee
