Rachel Stacy, a young Quaker woman and soon to be graduate from Earlham School of Religion, with a double major in religion and chemistry, recently finished her final school project for a class in contemporary religious movements. She decided to do the final research project on convergent Friends and has produced a great introduction.
It’s a very useful way to find out a little of the history, some of the theological and practical implications, and some of the challenges these Friends face. I’ve posted it on the resource page of the convergent Friends website and have posted about it there as well. Along with her essay I’ve posted a number of other downloadable resources there you may want to check out.
