I just found this site that has a video of both Ryan Bolger (my PhD advisor) and one of his PhD advisors when he was in school, Eddie Gibbs. Here they give some brief thoughts on “What is the Emerging Church?” A small movement in the West directed at thinking differently about church, culture and mission. They have both done extensive research in this area and have catalogued it in their recent book Emerging Churches.
