And Now We've Got Notes

Picture 3-2Yesterday I spent a little time reorganizing the sidebar, and cutting out some things here that were making my load time too long. So if you scan the sidebar on the front page you’ll see that I’ve added a “note pad.”

It’s like asides only it’s in the sidebar. Those of you who read this blog with an RSS reader or as an email subscriber will get the notes as well, so you won’t notice anything different there. It’s mainly to keep tidbits out of the main section of the site.

You can expect from the note pad at least two things: a) Random quotes from the books I am reading that I think are wonderful and b) tidbits about other things on the web I find interesting and within the realm of interest for this site. Such as the Terra Pass entry.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Very nice. May I ask how you’re doing that in your sidebar? Is it the sideblog plugin? Del.icio.us linkroll?

Thanks for the link back though, you didn’t have to do that ;).

  2. Sideblog is a very fun plugin. Very functional. If I were going to have asides in my sidebar I wouldn’t have hacked anything myself, I’d just have used that plugin.
